I work integratively, meaning I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches to suit your individual needs. Alongside integrative counselling, I also offer Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) and the Rewind Technique to support those experiencing anxiety, stress, trauma, or difficult life experiences.

Integrative Counsellor
As an Integrative Counsellor, I offer a flexible and personalised approach to therapy that recognises every individual’s experiences, challenges, and goals are unique. Rather than relying on a single therapeutic method, integrative counselling combines techniques from different evidence-based approaches, allowing sessions to be tailored to what will support you most effectively.
My aim is to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace. Together, we can work through issues such as anxiety, stress, low mood, relationship difficulties, life transitions, or personal growth.
By integrating approaches such as person-centred therapy, cognitive behavioural techniques, and psychodynamic understanding, I can adapt our work to suit your needs and preferences. This collaborative process helps you gain deeper self-awareness, develop healthier coping strategies, and build resilience. Therapy is not about quick fixes, but about meaningful change and supporting you in moving towards a more balanced and fulfilling life.
EFT Practitioner
As an EFT Practitioner, I offer Emotional Freedom Techniques as a gentle yet powerful method to support emotional wellbeing. Often referred to as “tapping,” EFT combines elements of traditional talk therapy with acupressure by lightly tapping on specific points on the body while focusing on particular thoughts, feelings, or experiences.
This approach can help reduce the emotional intensity connected to issues such as anxiety, stress, trauma, fears, limiting beliefs, and negative thought patterns. By working together to identify what may be causing emotional discomfort, EFT can help calm the nervous system and allow the mind and body to process emotions in a healthier way.
Sessions are guided at a comfortable pace, ensuring you feel safe, supported, and in control throughout the process. Many people experience a sense of relief, clarity, and emotional balance as they learn techniques they can continue to use independently in everyday life to manage stress and support ongoing wellbeing.
Rewind Practitioner
As a Rewind Practitioner, I provide a safe and gentle approach designed to help people process and reduce the distress associated with traumatic memories. The Rewind Technique is often used to support individuals experiencing symptoms of trauma, anxiety, or distress linked to past events, including those associated with PTSD.
This approach allows you to revisit difficult memories in a controlled and detached way, without the need to describe the event in detail or relive the emotional intensity. Using guided relaxation and visualisation techniques, the mind is supported in safely reprocessing the memory so it no longer triggers the same emotional or physical response.
The aim of the Rewind Technique is to help the brain store the memory as something that happened in the past, rather than something that continues to affect you in the present. Many clients find this approach empowering, as it helps restore a sense of calm, control, and emotional balance while moving forward with greater confidence.
